Leeds consultancy firm Answer Digital to create 35 jobs
Leeds-based Answer Digital is accelerating its expansion plans with the recruiting of 35 new members of staff.
The IT and digital consultancy firm, which helps companies and the public sector advance their digital transformation plans, said the roles were being recruited to support its growth.
In addition to the hires the company is continuing to invest in its academy, which over the last six years has fast-tracked young people in digital skills in software development, integration, test automation and project management. It will see a further 20 enter the academy programme in the next nine months.
More than half of the staff at Answer Digital are alumni of its academy, which was created to nurture the next generation of talent for the company.
Commenting on the expansion, Gary Parlett, founder and managing director of Answer Digital, said: “Following our move to employee-ownership last year, we have seen the business grow at light speed.
“Our deep understanding and technical expertise in healthcare, financial services and a host of other sectors have won favour with high-quality and long-standing clients.

The move to employee-ownership was a natural one for Answer Digital, and it’s a move that has received a positive response from clients.

Answer Digital has seen growth in several sectors. It was appointed to the new £800m digital capability for health framework, which supports public health organisations to provide digital outcomes and services.
Answer Digital’s health team works across the NHS to support the frontline in delivering digital solutions and enable transformational care.
It also helps local trusts to build new ways to plan and commission direct care and works in partnership with NHS Digital on the Integrating Care programme to develop national record and event sharing.
Answer was founded in 1999 by Gary and Katie Parlett as the Ultimate People Company ‘UPCO’ and became Answer in 2009.
