TECH TALK: Enacfire's latest earbuds are a gadget you'll be happy to bring into your world
It’s abundantly clear that most of the best things tech are wireless nowadays.
As the gadget world rapidly advances thanks to the development of communication technology such as smartphones and Bluetooth, the pace of our lives are changing with it.
Convenience is key to everything these days as we constantly try to keep up in a fast-paced world where speed and efficiency rule in any place at any time of day.
When it comes to listening to your favourite music or the latest podcast, no one these days wants to faff around with cables and plugs, and people ‘on the go’ even find holding their mobile phones a chore while indulging in conversation.
That’s why wireless earbuds are all the rage right now. I’d never owned a pair before and always chuckled to myself when I saw ‘hands-free’ folk chuntering away to themselves while climbing the stairs at the train station or stood hands-in-pockets jabbering away in the coffee queue.
But now, instead of being amused, I realise these people were actually ahead of the game. And it’s now a game I am happy to be part of thanks to my new wireless ANC A9 earbuds from Enacfire.
Available at a very affordable £59.99 from Amazon, these dinky noise-cancelling buds are Enacfire’s latest device and feature four microphones, along with an optional transparency mode.
They are so comfortable and light in weight you can hardly tell you are wearing them, that is until you hear the soothing quality of the sound seeping into your lugholes.
The beauty of the A9’s is that they are able to distinguish ambient noises and produce equal anti-sound which neutralises them before they reach the ear.
The inward-facing microphones measure sound levels at an impressive rate of 120 times per second, which ensures the device can effectively filter and reduce outside noise by up to 80 per cent.
You don’t need to worry about running out of juice as the buds come with a compact charging case which ensures 32 hours of constant playtime, making the A9’s ideal for travelling, exercising and general day-to-day life.
What I was most impressed with was the ease of which you can operate the controls through touch. A tap or two on the side of each earbud can set the volume to your liking and switch from ANC to transparency mode, which is very important for people who want to be able to enjoy music while out running, without the risk of missing vehicle noises and other hazards.
Thanks to the four microphones, the A9’s can also pick up phone callers’ voices with crystal clear quality between 100Hz and 3,000Hz, while the ergonomic design ensures hours of comfortable wear regardless of the shape of your ear.
They also have an IPX7 waterproof rating, which means they can be used in all types of weather with no need to worry about water damage from rain or sweat.
For me and most others I assume, it’s all about convenience and I, for one, am glad this is one modern-day gadget I brought into my world.
The ENACFIRE A9’s are available for £59.99 from Amazon.co.uk.
