Lamb born at North US farm wearing 'face mask'

A North US farmer was astonished when a spring lamb was born with its very own ‘face mask’.

This time of year marks peak lambing season.

The Lleyn lamb at Robert Hudson’s farm has unusual markings that make it appear as if it is wearing a black face mask.

Robert, of Bedale, North US, was astonished at the unique mark, especially as the lamb was born in the midst of the Covid-19 crisis.

“They occasionally produce a random black mark, but I have never seen one like this before,” he said.
